The Columbia County Community Broadband Utility (C3BU) is a department of the Columbia County Board of Commissioners and is funded by the revenue generated through its operations. We own/operate over 350 miles of underground single mode fiber, duct, and 8 tower sites. We are a small middle-mile provider and provide wholesale lit and unlit services, carrier-neutral colocation, and tower leasing in both Columbia and Richmond County Georgia. C3BU's mission is to provide a cost-efficient, self-sustaining middle-mile fiber network to enable other providers a path to economically service our community's under-served areas.
